Our Story

I once had a love that lasted ten years.
When that relationship suddenly ended, my world fell apart.
It wasn’t anger I felt — it was emptiness, deep and complete.

On the night when I almost gave up on life, I was lucky.
My best friend Lui showed up, just in time to save me — and she never left my side.
To help me find a reason to smile again, she gave me a little puppy and a box of DIY crochet kits.

At first, it was just something to fill the silence.
Until one day, the puppy chewed through the box, and the yarn was everywhere.
As I cleaned up the mess, I noticed the photo of the finished crochet piece inside.
Something about it made me want to try.

From my first clumsy stitch to my first finished work, then the second, the third…
Through each creation, I slowly found peace, focus — and love for myself again.

When I finished my nineteenth piece, I said to myself:

“I want to help more people like me find their inner happiness again.”

And that’s how Happyhookkits was born.

I believe —
Crocheting is more than just a craft.
It’s a gentle way to heal.
With every loop and stitch, we reconnect with ourselves,
and in creating something beautiful, we rediscover meaning and joy.
